A collage of four images: an elderly woman in a black dress with purple shirt and black hat standing outdoors, a woman with curlers in her hair and a young girl baking cookies inside the kitchen, a close-up of the elderly woman and a young woman smiling, and the elderly woman and a young girl decorating cookies in the kitchen.

The Story of Sixth Street

The story of us…Sixth Street Kolaches.

Hi everyone, I’m Lisa and this is my dearest Grandma, Marianne. Almost every day, she was in her kitchen on Sixth Street in Howells, baking a fresh batch of kolaches. When she passed away, I knew the best way to honor her memory was to keep the tradition of baking kolaches alive. This is how Sixth Street Kolaches was born. She taught me how to craft the perfect Czech treat! Each and every kolache I make is with the same classic style, attention and love that she perfected! It’s an honor that I get to share a little bit of her, with all of you

Baked with Love.
